Case Refinishing and Scratch Reduction
Hand refinishing of brushed and polished surfaces to restore original lug and bezel geometry, using the least metal removal that will do the job. Owners who prefer to keep marks that carry memory are welcome to say so — partial work is a normal request here. Includes ultrasonic cleaning.

Wearing Assessment and Care Consultation

How do I send a watch in for work?
Get in touch first — by phone or via the form below — with a brief description of the piece and what you are noticing. We will advise on the best way to bring it in or arrange a drop-off. We do not accept pieces without prior contact.
How long does chronograph work typically take?
Around three weeks in most cases. If a component such as a reset hammer must be sourced — particularly for older or less common calibres — this can extend the timeline. You will be told at the assessment stage, not after work has begun.
Can I ask for only partial refinishing on one side of the case?
Yes. Partial work — for example, addressing only the bezel or one lug — is a normal request and is priced accordingly. If you want to leave certain surfaces as they are, that preference will be noted and followed.
Is the wearing assessment suitable for a pre-owned piece I am considering buying?
It is one of the more useful applications. A thirty-minute bench appointment with a written note gives you a clear picture of current state — more useful than online photographs or a seller's description. There is no obligation to proceed with any further work.

The listed prices cover labour and standard consumables. If a specific part must be sourced — a jewel, a spring, a replacement component — the cost and source are discussed with you before it is ordered. No parts are ordered without your knowledge.
